WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF COSTUME MAKING!

On this class we make a basic leotard. It is a hands on class where you will be able to learn new  techniques to help you on your costume making journey. I provide the pattern and the Lycra. There is a maximum of 5 on this ‘come sew with me class’ I have a couple of spare machines for those that don’t have them but these are assigned at the time of booking so please be sure to mention this, if they are gone you will have to bring your own.

if you are making a costume on this class for someone specific please provide me with the following measurements

chest, waist, hips (fullest part of the bum) and Girth… Pass the tape measure through the legs and unto one shoulder, (the girth is the torso measurement). If you are  not making a leotard  for anyone I will choose a size for you to make.

We will be making the jalie 3026 leotard, this is my go to pattern for most things the event photo is for inspiration only and was photographed by David Hoffmann.

Pick the colour lycra that you want to make from my website, this will go in your pack along with the pattern, elastic, bikini clip.

Start time on Saturday 31st May  is 10am until 4 and Sunday is 9.30  until 4

What to bring:

sewing machine and over locker, Please make sure they work! all sewing accessories, including 5 threads (4 for the overlocker and 1 for the sewing machine)  you can purchase these from me  if you don’t have them in the colour leotard you are making (please see the colours of  lycra on the website and let me know at the time of booking) I will need to know in advance of the class the measurements (if you are making for someone)
