Sizing Samples (optional)
Once you have decided upon your design and fabric combinations, we can send you out a rough size sample leotard for you to try on. this saves time and alterations later on. The cost of this is £30 which is refunded back to you once the sample has been returned and received back to us in the same condition. All postage costs must be met by yourself. The size sample must be returned!
Payment is normally by BACs.
Once we have confirmed your order details with you and they have been approved for manufacture, you will be sent an invoice which will include payment details. We encourage prompt payment as goods will only be dispatched once full payment is received. A non refundable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking.
All costumes are made to your personal specifications, lead time is usually between 6 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year. When we accept an order we will agree a mutually acceptable delivery date. Once agreed this date cannot be changed.
Delivery is charged at the standard rate for the service required and is dependent upon weight. All orders totalling over £500 in one dispatch are carriage free within the UK.
The minimum charge for a single item order is £4.95 This includes not only the postage rate but our administration costs for processing a single item order. This charge may change without notification due to changes in postal rates.
Depending upon customer requirements, weight and destination, deliveries will be via one of the following methods:
- Royal Mail recorded delivery – must be signed for upon receipt.
This service does not guarantee next day delivery, it is not trackable and will only be considered ‘missing’ after 15 working days.
- Royal Mail special delivery – must be signed for upon receipt.
This service is guaranteed next day delivery and is fully trackable.
- Courier – must be signed for upon receipt.
This service is guaranteed next day delivery for most destinations within the UK and is fully trackable.
- International – The cost and complexity of shipping outside of the UK varies by destination. Responsibility for any and all import/export documentation, duties and tariffs will lie with the customer. Please contact our customer service team to obtain international shipping rates to your destination.
We cannot be responsible for orders lost or damaged during delivery or shipping; however, we will do all we can to assist you in handling claims.
Exchanges, returns and cancellations
As with all garments made to personal specifications no changes or cancellations will be permitted once your order is placed. Returns are not accepted and refunds will not be given. If you require written confirmation of your order requirements, please request these at the time of ordering.
Except where you are dealing as a consumer (as defined in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 Section 12 as amended and/or the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999 Regulation 3(1)) all other warranties, conditions or terms relating to quality or condition of the Goods, whether express or implied by statute or common law or otherwise shall be limited to the order value and does not include carriage charges.”
Rumpelstiltskin only carries out alterations to costumes that we have made. The minimum charge for our alteration service is £12 + p&p. Please speak to our staff about your specific requirements before returning a garment.
Colour reproduction on this website and in our publications is as accurate as possible and is intended only as a guide. Should they be required, fabric samples are available at a small charge of £1 plus p+p. Sample cards can be purchased at a cost of £4.95 plus p+p
Placement of an order constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

Any fabric and goods that have been cut to order, unfortunately cannot be refunded. We can offer refunds for any products that has not been cut (patterns and sundries for example). Please get in touch with us via email at email@example.com to arrange a return. Delivery charges will not be refunded, unless goods are found to be faulty or damaged.
We have attempted to accurately depict the colours and resemblance of the products displayed on the website. However, because the colour you see is dependent on your computer monitor, we cannot guarantee that the colour you see will be accurate.
