Description
This is a “COME SEW WITH ME CLASS” Where you will be taught step by step how a Structured Pancake Tutu is made. This is purely educational so there is no need to have a client that wants one, We will all be making the same size. It is very important that you are taught the skills in-depth and properly so that you can take your new found knowledge away with you and adapt any bodice to fit your client perfectly which means that You will be shown how to measure, and how to adapt your pattern in great detail. On this class you will be taught how to pleat your net and how to gather it.
what skills do I need? You need sewing knowledge, making a Tutu is not an easy task.
What equipment do I need? You need a sewing machine and a overlocker and they must be in good working order. You will also need a mannequin or a cushion (for Tacking), and all your sewing accessories ie: pins , needles, scissors etc.
What is included in this class? You will receive a sewing pack on arrival with everything you nee to make your Tutu, ie pattern, net hoop wire, elastics…. the only thing that you need to purchase is one meter of non stretch bengaline in the colour of your choice. (all the net will be white as this goes with everything)
(please note: I do have machines that can be allocated on a first come first served basis but priority is given to clients that are flying in, so please check)

The course is ran in the beautiful quaint village of Finningley, Doncaster.

The start time is 10am until 4pm, (Friday and Saturday) and 9am until 4pm on Sunday
